YOU are not alone, we are here to tell you that there are other parents out there that have been through this and are currently in the process of diagnoses. We believe in the age old saying A PROBLEM SHARED IS A PROBLEM HALVED. That is why we have set up this support group. We still get angry, upset and totally bewildered, but we now have someone to share this experience with. We do not give advice, we listen, because advice can be all well and good, but sometimes an ear is all we need to let off some steam

Quick apology for length of site address, we know its long but please save our site to your FAV's and it will be a lot quicker second time around At this time we have had over 500 hits to the website which is fantastic. We hope that you will get something out of our site, and the good thing is, its open 24/7 So when you feel that you just need to get something off your chest to someone at 3am in the morning...Feel Free. We do not stand in judgement or criticise, we want you to feel comfortable, and we want to let you know that we are here if you need a shoulder to cry on or just vent. We also feel that no one has to be isolated, and hopefully once we have a network of parents in all areas, there will always be someone local to talk to, and this should hopefully go towards having a happier outlook.  WHAT IS AUTISM Autistic disorder is a developmental disorder that affects a person's ability to communicate, form relationships with others, and respond appropriately to the environment. Some people with autistic disorder are high functioning, with speech and intelligence intact.
